Today is July 13 and we had a very pleasant surprise here at the airport. Typically airport food leaves a lot to be desired however we ate at Reggio's and were very impressed with the Chicago style deep dish pizza we had! Delish!!!
And on top of that we had another very pleasant surprise as a customers daughter was having a temper tantrum, getting very loud, screaming at her mom & was causing a scene. An employee, named Jonnette, from O'Hare airport maintenance crew did excellent job diffusing what could've been a bad situation. She was able to calm the girl down by talking to her for just a few minutes. The girl returned to her family & was able to conduct herself in a more polite manner.
The customers all around who witnessed this scene were thankful to Jonnette for taking care of this and were able to enjoy our delicious Reggio's Chicago Deep Dish Pizza!!!! -

Usually Good
After a long wait through security on my flight back to Canada last summer, I decided on a quick snack. I saw a Reggio's near my gate, so I decided on one of their deluxe pizza's. This one was okay, a little dry, most likely due to it sitting for a while. Typically Reggios makes great pizza, so the three stars since the pizzas should be changed out more often. I know airports are busy, but someone should have noticed that this pizza was sitting for a while. I hope my next experience is better. -

I wanted a quick meal between flights, and this fit the bill nicely.
Good spinach and tomato pizza for under $10. Pleasant and efficient staff. -

I fully expected a lousy dining experience when I went to Reggio's.
I was wrong.
Staff were sweet and helpful. They thanked me. The order was delivered correctly.
The restaurant was basic but clean. Prices were okay for an airport, and certainly better than other restaurants in the proximity.
We enjoyed our pizzas. The crust was perfect.
Service was fast. There were plenty of food options.
I would return. -

It's hard to find anything under $10 at the airport to eat. Their pizza isn't exactly Chicago style, but it is somewhat close. If it was Giordanos, you'd pay twice the price and it would be worth it. However it is not so as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. For $9, it is what it is. If they had better seating and a beer menu, I'd give them 4 stars for being a great value in an expensive place.
